BlockTimer does not collect any personal information. We do not require account creation, login, or any form of registration to use the app.
All data you create within the app — including timer programs, blocks, session history, and preferences — is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to any server.
2. Analytics & Tracking
BlockTimer does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising frameworks. We do not track your usage patterns, location, or any other behavioral data.
3. In-App Purchases
BlockTimer offers an optional one-time in-app purchase ("BlockTimer Pro") processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. All purchase transactions are handled by Apple in accordance with their Privacy Policy.
4. Data Storage
All app data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This includes:
- Timer programs and blocks you create
- Session history
- App preferences (theme, sound settings)
If you delete the app, all associated data is permanently removed from your device.
5. Notifications
BlockTimer may send local notifications to alert you of timer block transitions. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any external servers. You can disable notifications at any time in your device's Settings.
6. Widgets
BlockTimer offers Home Screen widgets that display your timer programs. Widget data is shared between the app and the widget extension using Apple's App Group functionality and remains entirely on your device.
7. Children's Privacy
BlockTimer does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app does not require any personal information to function.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
